Biography

Kevin is the General Manager of the historic Belo Mansion and Pavilion located in the Arts District of downtown Dallas.  In this position he oversees all food, beverage and operations for the facility which is owned by the Dallas Bar Association for its 11,000 members.

Before joining Culinaire at the Belo, he was the Director of Sales for Wolfgang Puck Catering in downtown Dallas.  In that role, he oversaw catering sales and marketing at Dallas’ historic Union Station and the landmark Reunion Tower, both of which were going through a $46 million dollar renovation, as well as off-premise catering.

Prior to joining Wolfgang Puck Catering, Kevin held the position of Director of National Accounts for BBJ Linen, a specialty linen rental company.  This position identified and developed new national accounts and developed strategies for market growth and penetration.

Prior to his working with BBJ Linen, he was Vice President of Private Events for ClubCorp, USA.  In that position he assisted in the training and certification of Private Event Directors as well as driving revenues.  His seventeen year career with ClubCorp began in Miami and has taken him to Ft. Lauderdale, Atlanta, San Jose and Dallas.

He has been a member of the International Special Event Society (ISES) and of the National Association for Catering and Events (NACE) for many years.  With NACE he has served in many capacities on both the local and the National level, including the position of National President.  He was a Trustee on the Foundation of NACE Board from 2006 – 2012. He is one of a select few who have earned their CPCE (Certified Professional Catering Executive) Certification.  He has been honored with NAFEM’s (National Association for Food Equipment Manufacturer’s) Doctorate of Food Service Award for his contributions to NACE and the industry at large. The DFW Chapter of NACE has honored him with both the Lifetime Achievement Award and the Howard Eckhart Hall of Fame Award.
