The beautiful Cascades Events Center in The Colony is a 3,000 square foot ballroom accommodating up to 230 people banquet rounds of ten per table.  This ballroom can also be divided into three separate rooms, each accommodating up to 70 people banquet rounds of 10 for smaller events.

Our convenient location is at Hwy 121 and Spring Creek (near Nebraska Furniture Mart), and offers affordable menu and bar options for Rehearsal Dinners, Wedding Ceremony and Reception Events, Birthday Celebrations, 1st Birthday Celebrations, Baby Showers, Bat and Bar Mitzvah’s, Graduation Dinners and Parties, School Sports Banquets, Sorority and Fraternity Banquets, and Religious Retreats / Conferences, just to name a few!  We offer Complimentary Dance Floor, House Centerpieces, Standard Linen and Napkins,  and the Complimentary use of our Motorized Drop-Down Screen and LCD Projector for all of our Social Events!

The Cascades Events Center is connected to the Fairfield Inn & Suites property, and is within walking distance to the Residence Inn and the Courtyard by Marriott Property (Opening April 1, 2016), which offers location convenience, and affordable guestroom accommodations for your out-of-town guests!

Biography

Luana has been a NACE member for 25 years and has attended all but 2 National Conferences. She credits NACE for the success of her business as well as the wonderful friendships  that have evolved from the organization. She has served on the local board as well as the National Board. She was the first to be awarded the Life Time Achievement Award from our Local Chapter, and was also honored to be the National Affiliate of the Year and winner of the National George Zell award. She continues to donate her time, energy and support to NACE but says as always, she gets back so much more than she gives.

Luana owned Encore Productions, an entertainment booking agency for 30 years and now continues to play solo piano/keyboard as a soloist, with small jazz groups, and with Center Stage–her 8 piece party band.

Biography

Rachel received her Bachelors of Music in Music Theatre from Oklahoma City University in December of 2003 and moved back to Texas as quick as she could! After some time spent in the musical theatre world, Rachel danced her way into the hospitality industry where she was an Event Coordinator for the Atrium at the Granville Arts Center for 2 years. From there she expanded her career in the hospitality industry working in such venues as the GISD Culwell Center, Firewheel Golf Park, and Cityplace Conference & Event Center before coming on board with M&M Event Rentals as a Special Events Producer & Sales Manager. She is an active member of the National Association for Catering & Events, DFW Chapter, is currently involved with the programs & fundraising committees, and served as their Director of Community Service in 2012 & 2013, Director of Programs in 2011 and Director of Fundraising in 2010.
