I don’t know about you, but something happens to me when fall hits. The crisp fresh air fuels a new energy in me and the smell of hot apple cider and all things pumpkin bring me pure joy. It’s like I get to start over; I have a new perspective on my life; and I’m willing to challenge myself and take risks. It’s my favorite season…Oh yea, and there’s these other awesome things that make me love fall, too:

  1. Fall Fashion: I’ve got one word for you: boots.
  2. Fall Food
  3. Fall Foliage
  4. Pumpkin Carving
  5. Going to the State Fair
  6. Fall Sports: Football (Pro and College), Baseball Playoffs
  7. Fall Weather: Being outside during the fall just makes me happy.
  8. Election Day: Always important to remember that your vote counts. Don’t forget the NACE Board of Director elections on Wednesday, October 7th. I know there are a lot of other events happening that night but it is important for us to hear from our members. You get to decide who you want to lead and serve the Chapter next year. Please come and vote.

It is so hard to believe that we are approaching the end of my role as President of the DFW Chapter. These two years have gone by so fast and I know the next two months will fly by. I am already overwhelmed with emotions…Let’s finish out the year with a bang. I hope to see you on Wednesday and in November for our members appreciate meeting.
