Calva L. Powell, Owner and Creative Director of JPC Invites, a Mansfield, Texas based wedding invitations and stationery company that services Dallas Fort Worth and worldwide. She was born in Michigan, and traveled the world as a army brat, with a shy reserved nature, strong work ethic and eye for design. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from LeTourneau University. She worked 12 years at an Architectural Firm that specialized in designing schools before moving to her current employer Grapevine Colleyville Independent School District where she has been for the past 14 years as a Bond Program Coordinator in the construction department where she uses her creative skills on interior designing.

The stationery business has grown to a point that she has developed a myriad of clients giving her a well-qualified edge for stationery design. The face that she absolutely loves her job is an understatement and feels blessed to make unique pieces that become a part of the best day of someone’s life. Personally, Calva is happily married almost 18 years. When not working or designing unique stationery, Calva enjoys spending quiet time in her backyard listening to nature, going on a date with her husband, reading or just hanging out with family and friends
