Planning has been part of Lauren Eck’s DNA since childhood, as she shadowed her mother in volunteer work for non-profit events, helping coordinate local parties and galas. During her time at Penn State University, she secured a key internship in Washington D.C. with Design Cuisine, a luxury catering company. This pivotal experience set her on a path in the food and beverage events industry.

In 2010, Eck moved to Dallas, where she assumed her first full-time position at Edison’s, a 15,000-square-foot event facility near the convention center. Rising to the role of Director of Events, she gained comprehensive training and hands-on experience, which led her to Wolfgang Puck Catering in 2012 as a Catering Sales Manager at the famed Reunion Tower. Over the next seven years, she grew into her current role as Regional Director of Catering Sales for Texas, overseeing multiple teams, venues, and off-premise catering operations across the state of Texas.

In 2024, Eck was named an Industry Leader by Smart Women in Meetings and honored with the Passion Award for Wolfgang Puck Catering by Compass Group. She has held various leadership roles with the Dallas/Fort Worth chapter of NACE and currently serves as the organization’s President.
