Shamica Sweat is a graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia (MIZZOU), where she has a Bachelor’s of Science in Human and Environmental Sciences with an emphasis in Consumer and Family Economics. Shamica moved to Dallas. Texas, and in 2013 launched The Pink Tuxedos Weddings and Events now known as Shamica & Co. Event Planning and Design. She puts her “sweat” into each event and it is this belief and work ethic that she takes with her into each wedding and event. When she is not planning events you can find her behind a lectern at Collin College, teaching and pouring into new and aspiring event planners on their journey to becoming a Certified Wedding and Event Planner. She is passionate about giving back to the events industry and preparing the newest leaders to be their best in business.
