Sir J. Starks, widely known as "Sir J. The DJ," is a dynamic entrepreneur, DJ, and media professional hailing from Garland, Texas. With a deep-rooted passion for serving others through music and entertainment, he has built a reputation as a versatile and engaging performer, bringing energy and excitement to every event he and his team touches. In addition to his career as a DJ, Sir J. is the owner of DFW 360 Booths, a premier photo booth rental company specializing in immersive 360 booth and photo booth experiences. Sir J. also owns DFW Neon, a creative business offering custom neon signage for events, businesses, and personal spaces. Through these ventures, he continues to elevate the event experience, providing high-quality services that enhance celebrations and branding efforts.

Sir J. holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Radio, Television, and Film Production from the University of North Texas, equipping him with the technical expertise and creative vision to excel in the media and entertainment industry. Beyond his career as a DJ and entrepreneur, he is a dedicated business owner, investor, landlord and community advocate, leveraging his skills and entrepreneurial spirit to create impactful ventures.

A devout christian, devoted husband and father, Sir J. values God and then his family above all and strives to inspire others through his work, leadership, and commitment to excellence. Whether behind the turntables or building his businesses, he remains passionate about connecting with people and creating unforgettable experiences through music, entertainment, and innovative event solutions.

Sir J. joined DFW NACE in November of 2023 and has since held a seat on the community service committee as well as the 2025 board of directors. Some of Sir J’s accolades within DFW NACE include the 2023 NACE Experience scholarship winner, 2023 event of the year (as a vendor - DFW 360 Booths), 2024 NACE Evolve scholarship winner, and the 2024 recipient of the “Rising Star Of The Year” award. Currently Sir J.’s goal as co-director of membership is to connect members to the source of their business needs within DFW NACE. As a beneficiary of growth within the DFW NACE chapter, Sir J. is passionate about adding value to all of our members.
